Happy Friday, Anime 5E fans! Here’s a short update before the weekend on Kickstarter digital fulfilment for Beyonder Worlds.

We have been working with BackerKit to get the pledge manager surveys ready and we are planning to start the process next week. Following their guidelines, the survey will first be sent to a small selection of backer as part of a “smoke test” to ensure everything is running smoothly with the process. Only a few dozen people will receive this initial survey – so don’t be concerned if you don’t receive one. If you do receive it, though, it would be very helpful if you could complete your pledge promptly so we can verify the process.

Starting immediately thereafter if everything runs without problems, the survey will be sent  to all remaining backers. We ask that you complete this BackerKit survey as soon as possible – no later than Friday, August 30th ideally to avoid delays fulfilling your pledge. It doesn’t matter which pledge tier you selected – the timeline remains the same for every backer.

DriveThruRPG digital download links for your pledged products will be emailed to you promptly after the Friday deadline. Physical rewards are currently expected to ship in November – once again, slightly ahead of schedule compared to the December date we announced in the campaign.

REMEMBER: You won’t receive your digital or physical rewards without completing the BackerKit survey!

As a reminder, with the BackerKit survey, you can:

• Confirm or change your pledge tier
• Top up your pledge funds to select one or more add-on products
• Remit shipping fees for any additional physical rewards in your pledge
• Provide your mailing address for shipping physical rewards

What an astounding Kickstarter campaign!

On behalf of the Dyskami Publishing crew, we want to express our sincerest thanks for the tremendous support you have shown to us throughout this entire campaign.

16 updates over 24 days, and here we are with the spectacular results of your fully funded crowdfunding effort: $108,272 in pledges by 950 backers.

Although we didn’t quite make it to the final $110K stretch goal, the effort the entire community demonstrated over these past few hours has inspired us — and we want to reward you for your efforts.

$100K Stretch Goals Unlocked! Anime 5E Beyonder Worlds Kickstarter Ends Soon

On the final day of the campaign, you blew through the $100,000 funding threshold! This remarkable achievement has unlocked two more stretch goals, both for backers pledging $110+:

• Free bonus copy of the Anime 5E RPG – Pocket Edition (a $25 value)
• Consideration for what to do with Dyskami’s advanced extra copy of the 2024 D&D Player’s Handbook

We’ve decided to set one final stretch goal for the campaign. With only a few hours remaining before the campaign ends at 10 pm EDT tonight, we know that funding may not rise high enough to unlock it, but we wanted to give you a teaser of what’s possible in the coming hours. Setting a goal is a worthwhile process unto itself – and with your support, we believe reaching this goal is absolutely achievable!

New Stretch Goal @ $110K: Free Anime 5E Neoprene Dice Tray

During the original Anime 5E Kickstarter in 2021, backers who pledged for the Anime 5E Dice Tower and Trays add-on received a bonus promotional neoprene dice tray. This tray (both cute and practical!) has remained largely unavailable for a few years, so we thought it would be a great time to bring it back!

If campaign funding reaches $110K, every backer who pledges at least $110 (before shipping) will receive a complimentary Anime 5E dice tray added to their rewards bundle. Unlocking this stretch goal would add another $10 in value to your Adventurer tier pledge, bringing the total value of all bonus content to a whopping $60:

• $25 for the Pocket Edition RPG
• $10 for the Character Folio
• $10 for the neoprene dice tray
• $8 for two Gen Con scenarios with pregens
• $3 for an sci-fi Beyonder Worlds scenario
• $2 for five beyonder world threats
• $2 for ten spell conversions

That’s worth more than half the value of the $110 Adventurer tier pledge! 🤯

Anime 5E Beyonder Worlds: How To Prepare for the Campaign’s End

As we march steadily towards the two $100K stretch goals and count down the final hours of the Anime 5E Beyonder Worlds Kickstarter campaign (it ends Thursday at 10 pm EDT), we wanted to remind you about campaign end preparations.

Check Your Credit Card For Space

Kickstarter will charge the credit card you entered when you made the pledge promptly after the Kickstarter ends tomorrow at 10 pm EDT. Why not double check NOW to ensure you have enough credit space available so your pledge funding isn’t denied? If you need to use a different card with more credit space, you can easily make that adjustment now as well (see instructions below).

Adjust Your Pledge To Get Everything You Want

If you need to use a different credit card, or you want to add on items to your pledge, or you want to change your pledge tier (perhaps from a lower tier to the $110+ Adventurer tier or above to qualify for those awesome bonus stretch goals!), here are the easy steps to follow:

• Visit the Kickstarter campaign page and log in
• Click the green “Manage Your Pledge” button at the top of the page
• Click the blue “Update Payment Method” button at the top if you need to enter a different credit card
• Click the blue “Change Your Pledge” button at the bottom if you want to select a new tier or add on items
• Select the new pledge tier that you want, or keep the one you have – then press the green “Pledge” button
• Select any new add ons that you want to include with your pledge, then click the green “Continue” button at the bottom
• Read through the summary of changes to ensure everything is correct, then click the green “Confirm Changes” button

The BIG Problem With AppleID Private Relays

If you use an AppleID with the Private Relay feature to login to Kickstarter (for those who log in with their ApplePay account, rather than a normal username and password), you may not receive your BackerKit survey email when we send later in August. We cannot send you digital copies or ship your rewards until you complete your survey. It would be ideal if you instead change your Kickstarter login email address NOW to an actual real email address instead. (To do this, click the button in the top right corner, select “Settings”, then change your email address.)

If you prefer to not do this, however, you’ll need to contact us directly after the BackerKit surveys are sent with your actual email address so we can manually process your survey email link. It’s not difficult, of course, but it may delay you receiving those awesome Anime 5E expansion digital rewards that are part of your pledge.

Create a DriveThruRPG Account

If you don’t have a DriveThruRPG account, you won’t receive your digital PDF rewards. Why not create an account NOW if you don’t have one (at https://www.drivethrurpg.com/login.php)? It’s best if your DriveThru account email matches your Kickstarter account email – you can easily change your Kickstarter email address at any time – but not required.

Later this month, we will be sending DriveThru PDF download codes to your Kickstarter email address. If your DriveThru email matches your Kickstarter email, these download codes will also appear in your DriveThru inbox even if the email we send it send to your spam folder (which sometimes happens, especially if you have a Hotmail email account). Otherwise, you may not automatically receive your download codes when the other backers do, and we’ll need to work with you to retrieve the download codes that we sent to your Kickstarter email address.

Beyonder Worlds $90K Stretch Goal Unlocked

Happy Wednesday! First, we’d like to extend a welcome to new backers lately who have joined us for the final 48-hour push. We are quickly approaching the 800 backer line and unlocked the $90K stretch goal in the process! Backers pledging $23+ will now receive free PDF copies of the two Anime 5E 2024 Gen Con scenarios (along with pre-generated character sheets), which adds another $8 in value to your pledge.

Thanks very much for your continued support. The campaign is marching towards the big $100K milestone and the two stretch goals we announced yesterday in Update #12 – a FREE copy of the Anime 5E Pocket Edition RPG for all backers pledging $110+ and a special stretch goal involving an advanced copy of the 2024 D&D Player’s Handbook. Upgrading Your Pledge

If you’ve been thinking about upgrading your campaign pledge – perhaps to the most popular $110+ Adventurer tier (to qualify for free products) or to add-on some additional products – now is the perfect time! Once you log into your Kickstarter account, click the green “Manage Your Pledge” button at the top. After you click the blue “Change Your Pledge” button, you can select an alternate pledge tier or add-ons. It’s that easy!
